Service Usage Policy

Preface

Welcome to Vurbo.ai. In order to provide users around the world with a stable, high-speed and high-quality AI speech and translation service (the "Service") and to ensure service fairness, platform stability and user safety, the Company has established this Service Usage Policy (the "Policy")

This Policy is intended to protect the rights and interests of all users, maintain service quality, prevent abusive conduct, and set out the code of conduct that all users must comply with when using the Service.

Fair Use of Service Resources

This section applies to users who have purchased an "Unlimited Usage Plan" (including Advanced, Professional and Premium). The plan is designed to meet the high-intensity and flexible needs of professional users in work scenarios.

Purpose of the Policy: To prevent a very small number of users from engaging in atypical and continuous abusive conduct that leads to an imbalance in the allocation of computing resources, degradation of service performance or an adverse impact on other users’ experience, the Company reserves the right to manage and allocate resources. Atypical usage includes, but is not limited to:

Continuously occupying system computing resources over a long period of time through automated scripts or batch jobs.
Reselling or redistributing the Service, or using it as a long-term automated monitoring system.
Any usage pattern that Vurbo.ai determines will cause excessive resource consumption or seriously affect system performance.

Management of Service Resources

To maintain overall platform performance and fairness, Vurbo.ai continuously monitors system load and the usage patterns of individual users.
Where a user’s usage is determined to constitute atypical abusive behaviour as described in point 1 above and places a significant burden on platform stability, Vurbo.ai may, in light of system load and resource conditions, temporarily adjust the service level of that account.
Such adjustment is a temporary resource-management measure. Possible measures include, without limitation: adjusting the level of the AI model used, changing the job queue to a standard mode (which may reduce processing speed), or temporarily restricting or disabling certain high-consumption features.
When the user’s usage pattern returns to a normal range, or when system load permits, Vurbo.ai will assess whether to restore the original service level and features of that account.

Acceptable Use of the Platform

This section applies to all Vurbo.ai users. To ensure that Vurbo.ai’s AI models and services are not used for unlawful, infringing or harmful purposes, all users are responsible for complying with the following rules of use.

Strictly Prohibited Content and Uses: Users must not use the Vurbo.ai Service to process (including uploading, transcribing, translating or storing) any of the following content, or to assist in any of the following activities:

Unlawful activities: using the Service to assist, plan or promote any unlawful conduct or unlawful goods/services.
Invasion of privacy: any private conversations, meetings or sensitive personal information obtained without lawful authorisation.
Hate, harassment and discrimination: content involving threats, intimidation, harassment, defamation or the promotion of hate speech based on characteristics such as race, religion, gender or sexual orientation.
Child sexual exploitation: strictly prohibited from processing, storing or distributing any form of child sexual exploitation material (CSAM).
Pornographic and explicit content: processing or distributing pornography, sexual exploitation or highly explicit adult content.
Fraud and deception: using the Service for scams, fraud, phishing or creating misleading content that impersonates others.
Political manipulation: using the Service for large-scale dissemination of fake news or for systematic political manipulation.
Assistance with high-risk harmful activities (weapons): using the Service to assist in the design, development, manufacture or operation of any weapons, including biological, chemical or nuclear weapons.
Assistance with high-risk harmful activities (biochemical): using the Service to assist in the simulation, optimisation or design of pathogens, toxins or other substances that pose biological or chemical dangers.
Malware and cyber-attacks: using the Service to analyse or generate malicious code, or to assist phishing, hacking or other cyber-attacks.
Self-harm and extreme violence: promoting or assisting suicide or self-harm, or content containing extreme gore and violence.
Unauthorised professional advice: using the Service to provide "automated legal, medical or financial advice that has not been reviewed by qualified professionals".

Clarification on Professional Fields (such as Law, Medicine and Finance): Vurbo.ai is a transcription and translation tool designed to enhance the work efficiency of professionals. This Policy does not prohibit users (such as lawyers, doctors, financial practitioners, journalists or researchers) from using the Service, for lawful professional purposes, to process, transcribe or translate relevant work materials (for example, court records, medical notes, earnings-call transcripts or academic research).

Activities that Endanger System Security: Any conduct that may damage the security of Vurbo.ai’s systems is strictly prohibited:

Without Vurbo.ai’s prior written authorisation, carrying out probing, scanning, stress testing or penetration testing of systems or networks.
Attempting to decompile, crack, reverse engineer or otherwise probe the system architecture.
Any technical conduct that may interfere with, interrupt or cause excessive load on the Service.
Attempting to circumvent Vurbo.ai’s security measures or usage limits.

Abuse of Trial Plans: Any abuse of Vurbo.ai’s trial mechanisms is strictly prohibited:

Repeatedly creating multiple accounts by means of programmes, scripts or manual operations.
Intentionally registering repeatedly in order to improperly obtain free trials or promotional resources.

Handling of Violations

If a user breaches this Policy, Vurbo.ai may, depending on the seriousness of the circumstances and without prior notice, take one or more of the following actions:

For "Fair Use of Service Resources" (breach of Chapter II):: Vurbo.ai may temporarily adjust the service level of the account in accordance with point 2 of Chapter II.

For "Abuse of Trial Plans" (breach of Chapter III, point 4):

Vurbo.ai is entitled to immediately disable all related accounts.
The user, and any related IP addresses or devices, may be permanently prohibited from registering again.

For "Strictly Prohibited Content" or "Activities that Endanger System Security" (breach of Chapter III, point 1 or point 3):

Vurbo.ai may immediately suspend or permanently terminate all services for the account, without any refund.
Vurbo.ai reserves the right to pursue relevant legal liability and claim damages.

Miscellaneous

This Policy forms part of the IPEVO Vurbo.ai product terms of use and, together with the IPEVO Privacy Policy, payment terms and other legal documents, constitutes the complete agreement between the Company and the user.

IPEVO reserves the right to amend, update or supplement this Policy at any time. Any revised content will be published on the official website and shall take effect on the date of publication.

If any provision of this Policy is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such part shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
